How it all began?
Initially, fusion was considered not a design, but an architectural style. But modern designers quickly noticed its advantages and began to use it in interiors. The emergence of the style was the result of a mixture of different styles, cultures and technologies.
The country of origin of the fusion style is usually called America. In the same period, numerous fashion houses in Italy, Germany and France began to use not only glass catwalks, but also leopard-skin carpets in their shows.
What are the features?
The strict cubic leather sofas were replaced by soft fluffy models. Experimental colorful combinations appeared on the snow-white walls. Large design agencies began to decorate the interiors of houses with non-standard solutions. The furniture was moved from the corners to the center, and it itself became of unusual shapes and interesting colors.
Also in the fusion style, vertical and horizontal lines are easily connected, luxurious materials with simple and ecological, objects of different heights.
The color scheme of the entire space should be complex, composite with a large number of decorative details, it is allowed to use different types of fabrics. Experiment with staged lighting to give the space an interesting shape. Any mess will be well-organized, which is not present in other types of interior style.
Don't worry, not only bright colors can take part in the interior: pastel colors will not be unused in this style. Combine turquoise and raspberry shades with each other, because they will be considered really successful. You can use combinations of purple and purple shades with black or white. But do not make mistakes in combination. Use special color charts so as not to turn the interior into a colorful thing.
In lighting, use floor lamps, sconces, chandeliers and anything that gives new shades to your room. It will not be superfluous to make cabinet lighting. Use different lighting fixtures, such that they are not alike and will be in the same room. Such a technique would be quite appropriate for this direction.
Who is it for?
Not everyone can choose this style. Bold solutions in the interior will suit young people of a creative nature and with a penchant for experimentation. Don't be afraid to create new fusion trends.
